The QRACCESS app validates QR codes in real time while the venue has coverage, and keeps the QR check-in running offline when it does not — basements, field sites, buildings where the signal drops mid-event. Which mode each event uses is set from the web dashboard, so the door staff never have to configure anything on the phone.
With connectivity at the checkpoint, every scan is recorded on the dashboard the moment it happens. This is the usual mode when the venue has reliable coverage.
The app downloads the attendee list to the device and validates each QR locally; the scans are synchronized later. Built for places without stable coverage.
Offline mode is designed so event access control never stops, whether the venue has no coverage to begin with or the network fails halfway through the event.
If you run many events, the search box on the Event tab is the fast way in. And note that the counting mode — how each scan is recorded — is set per event on the web dashboard, not on the phone (see setting up an event).
At events with numbered seating, scanning a QR highlights the attendee's ZONE, ROW and SEAT on screen. The door staff see at a glance where each person sits — no paper lists.
The highlight shows the attendee's exact location at the moment of the scan — invaluable in theaters, auditoriums and any venue with numbered seats.
If someone is sitting where they should not be, scan their QR again: their assigned zone, row and seat come straight back up. See the troubleshooting guide.
The ticket — PDF, email or QR — carries the same zone, row and seat, so attendee and staff are always looking at the same information.
For daily or recurring check-ins you can turn on daily record clearing, so the same QR can be scanned again each day according to the validity settings of the event.
