Recording entries and exits with QR
Depending on how the event is configured, QRACCESS records entries only, entries and exits, or runs continuous QR scanning. Every scan lands in the web dashboard, where you can review it, filter it and export it — the raw material for real-time capacity control and attendance records.
Counting modes
The mode is chosen in the event configuration (see setting up an event) and decides what the app records on each QR scan.
- Entries only: each QR code is validated at the entrance according to its validity — single use, a set number of scans, or unlimited scans per day.
- Entries and exits: both movements are recorded; these records are also the basis for attendance certificates (see PDF badges).
- Continuous scanning: chained scans for high-throughput gates (see continuous scanning).
What happens on a repeated scan — an alert, a confirmation pop-up or outright rejection — is set in the event alerts, covered in setting up an event.
What you can check and export
From Records in the dashboard you can review every scan and download the data to work on it elsewhere.
- Current and archived scans.
- Date, time, scanner user and action type of every scan.
- Filters by date, scan type and scanner.
- Export to Excel.
- The movement history of each attendee — the quickest way to settle a dispute at the door.
Where archived scans come from
Archived scans are produced by archiving finished events. When you use "Archive and keep finished event" under the event's maintenance, the attendee data and their scans move to the archive: they stay readable from the dashboard and nothing is lost. See the guide on setting up an event.
A one-click capacity and scans report
Besides the full dashboard, you can prepare a simple statistics URL to check scans and capacity in one click — no app to install, no dashboard login. The report shows the total scans per scanner and the alerts recorded, so anyone with the link can see how the doors are doing while the event runs.
